Eco-design at the heart of our products

At Alba, we are deeply committed to the eco-design of products that respect the environment. This starts with rigorous specifications that favour materials with the least possible negative impact, from the extraction of raw materials right through to the end of their life. Our aim: to minimise our own waste and that of our customers, and therefore our and their ecological footprint.

Recycling and giving products a second life

Following the decree of 6 January 2012 on the management of Waste Furnishing Elements (amended by decree No. 2017-1607 of 27 November 2017), the legislation makes us responsible for the end-of-life of the products we sell. Alba awarded the EcoVadis Platinium Medal

In April 2024, Alba reached another significant milestone by being awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal with a score of 79/100. This distinction places Alba in the top 1% of companies rated best by EcoVadis, one of the world's leading independent evaluators of CSR performance.

Carbon footprint

Because it's time to make concrete commitments for the climate, we've decided to measure our carbon footprint! 🌍

We are aware of our energy consumption and are taking steps to limit it through daily actions that are within the reach of all our teams. We are committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by carrying out our first scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon audits.

We have also introduced LCAs for each product in order to be transparent and accurately assess the carbon impact of each product over its entire life cycle.

Waste management and recycling

At Alba, responsible waste management is at the heart of our CSR approach. Aware of our environmental impact, we have put in place a rigorous waste management process that follows the logic: avoid - reduce - sort - recover.
